Goldback Notes offer a remarkable new option for gold bullion buyers. While the popular 1 oz gold coins and bars offered by mints are snatched up by the hundreds of thousands, or even millions, annually, these are not easily spent. Most of these coins have an intrinsic value that far exceeds the price of everyday purchases. While these gold notes are not US legal tender, they are voluntary notes you can spend with any vendor willing to accept the gold notes for payment.
The Goldback Notes seek to flip that concept by providing modern gold investors with gold they could actually spend. At just 1/100 Troy oz of gold content, these notes fall in the middle in terms of value in the Goldback Series. The largest note is 1/20 oz, while the smallest has just 1/1000 oz of gold.
Obverse design elements on 10 Wyoming Goldback Gold Notes include a pioneer woman making camp. No doubt moving west with her family in search of a new life, this woman is setting up camp for the day. An oxen-driven wagon is in the background as a fire roars in the foreground. A giant pot is being prepared that no doubt holds a hearty stew within.
In the reverse design, the Wyoming Goldback Gold Note is blank. It is difficult to put a design on the reverse without it showing through to the obverse side. As such, you’ll see only the mirror image of the obverse design.
These 10 Wyoming Goldback Gold Notes are available to you in protective sleeves. The Goldback is developed by combining thin layers of gold between polymer sheets.
