Established by Henry Flagler, the FEC connected Jacksonville to St. Augustine and ultimately Key West by 1912, with the “Overseas Railroad” standing as a triumph of engineering and innovation. Styled in flapper fashion, Innovatio embodies the excitement and liberation brought by the railway, holding a ticket symbolizing new adventures and standing beside a train inspired by the historic FEC locomotive No. 153. Surrounding her are Florida’s natural and cultural symbols, including dolphins, pelicans, and arches reminiscent of the Overseas Railroad’s design, all reflecting the resilience and vision that defined this era.
