The Tokelau Vivat Humanitas Series is a multi-year release for the small Pacific Ocean nation, with the heart of its design focus on those elements that celebrate humanity. The term Vivat Humanitas translates from Latin as “Long live humanity.” In the latest release of the series, the musical achievements of humanity are captured in the designs on the obverse and reverse. The Vivat Humanitas Series debuted at the Pressburg Mint in 2020 as a new collection of multi-year coins for Tokelau. The series joined the Terra, Equilibrium, and Chronos collections available from the mint already. The design on the reverse of the coins in this series changes each year, while offering a steady central design feature upon which the inscriptions are centered.
