Monarch Precious Metals may be one of the youngest private mints in the United States, but it quickly made a name for itself with unique gold and silver precious metal products. Each Monarch gold or silver bar is produced using traditional techniques, giving the bars a retro look that both investors and collectors can appreciate.

Silver bars have become immensely popular in the 21st century as silver prices hit new highs. One of the driving forces for the rising popularity of silver bars, as opposed to silver bullion coins, is the lower premiums. Struck by private mints rather than sovereign facilities, the premium charged over the spot price of silver is much lower for bars than coins.
Currently, the most popular weights for silver bars the 1 oz. and 10 oz. options. Both offer an affordable entry point, allowing investors to build a precious metals portfolio without breaking the bank in the process.
On the obverse face of the bar you’ll find all of the engravings it carries. At the top is the weight of the bar, marked as “10 Troy Ounces.” Below that is the Monarch Precious Metals logo, which consists of a crown formed by the letters “MPM.” Additionally, “Monarch Precious” is engraved in a half-moon shape above that, with “Metals” stamped below. The bar’s purity and metal content are also featured on this side.
All Monarch Precious Metal bars are hand-poured using traditional production techniques to give Monarch bars a unique, rustic appearance. Rather than laser-engraving any markings on its bars, all markings are hand-stamped by refiners at Monarch Precious Metals.
