Each 2021 2 oz Jesus Delivered Biblical Silver Coin in this product listing comes to you in a beautiful presentation box. Each coin in the series is packaged in a Bible-themed display box that comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the mint that includes the passage from the Bible that reflects the design on the reverse of this particular coin.
The coins in the Biblical Silver Series are issued with six new designs for each date mark. The collection started in 2015 and offers distinctive reverse designs on rimless, high-relief silver blanks. The 2 oz silver coins have an antique polish that helps enhance the visual detail of the coins.
Queen Elizabeth II features on the obverse of 2021 Jesus Delivered Biblical Silver Coins. This is the third-generation British effigy of the Queen that was created for the Royal Mint in 1985. Raphael Maklouf is the designer behind this portrait and it captures an idealized, young version of the Queen. She wears the George IV State Diadem Crown on her head in this effigy.
Pontius Pilate is depicted in the reverse design of 2021 2 oz Jesus Delivered Biblical Coins. The design on this side shows Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor of Judea, delivering Jesus to the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem to be crucified. Pilate had given Jesus many opportunities to respond to the accusations of the Jewish authorities in the city, but in keeping silent, Jesus fulfilled God’s plan for our redemption in sacrificing himself for the sins of humanity.
