Moses is one of the most critical human figures from the Bible. Born to a mother who had to choose between letting him live and die, she rolled the dice and placed him in a basket and hid him amongst the reeds on the banks of the Nile River hoping he would be safe. That little baby and his basket ended up breaking free and floating down the river.
As baby Moses floated innocently down the waters of the Nile River, the daughter of the Pharaoh of Egypt was bathing in the river when she encountered the basket. Moses, himself a Jew, was raised by the Pharaoh’s daughter in the house of the leader. He would eventually go on to lead his people to freedom from Egyptian oppression with unwavering faith in the words he heard from God.
