- Product Description
Celebrate the undisputed king of racing history with this exceptionally rare 1973 Secretariat Triple Crown Winner 1 oz Silver Art Bar. Minted by the prestigious United States Silver Corporation (USSC), this piece was struck in the exact same year that "Big Red" smashed world records and conquered the American Triple Crown.
The obverse of the bar showcases a detailed engraving celebrating Secretariat's immortal June 1973 Triple Crown victory. It features an elegant high-relief design highlighting a majestic horse head silhouette alongside a jockey silhouette, flanked by the bold inscription: "SECRETARIAT • TRIPLE CROWN WINNER • JUNE 1973."
The reverse proudly features the hallmarks of the United States Silver Corporation, detailing its weight and purity with the crisp lettering: "UNITED STATES SILVER CORPORATION • ONE TROY OUNCE • .999+ FINE." Over the past half-century, this specimen has developed a stunning, authentic vintage patina. The natural toning brings an incredible depth and artistic contrast to the legendary horse racing imagery.
Why Choose This Historic USSC Silver Bar?
A True 1973 Time Capsule: Unlike modern commemorative issues, this vintage art bar was produced right at the peak of Secretariat's historical run in 1973.
High Numismatic Premium: Because massive quantities of 1970s art bars were melted down for their silver weight during subsequent market spikes, surviving USSC sports bars carry immense collector rarity.
Unmatched Legacy: Secretariat's 31-length victory at the Belmont Stakes remains one of the greatest athletic feats of all time. This bar is a cross-tier investment highly desired by bullion stackers, racing purists, and sports memorabilia collectors alike.

Customer Reviews
"Amazing service and hospitality from the staff at IDC! Jason was so attentive and patient in our search for our ideal watches. He took us through several options, had us try every watch we were interested in, took our information and continued searching for options. A few hours later, we had our watches on hold and ready for pick up! He located a watch that I LOVE, and a unique piece for my husband. We are grateful to have found our new Jeweler for many pieces to come!"
