The legacy of Sparta has been highlighted for centuries. It was a prominent city-state in Laconia in Ancient Greece. Around 650 BC, it rose to become the dominant military land power in Greece with remarkable feats in war and defense that allowed Sparta to carve out a name for themselves in the sands of time. Throughout modern history, their legacy has been retold in a variety of mediums. MK Barz and Bullion bring their story to the world of precious metals in a radiant silver round.

Sparta was a warrior society in the heart of Greece that reached the height of its power once it defeated its foreboding rival, Athens in the Peloponnesian War. Spartan culture is centered on loyalty to the state and military service. According to history, Spartan boys entered into rigorous military training and socialization programs. The program emphasizes duty, discipline, and endurance. Spartan women are not active in the military, however, they were educated and enjoyed more status and freedom than other Greek women.
For the obverse field of the 1 oz MK Barz Hand Poured Honor, Glory, Spartan Silver Round, you will find the image of a Spartan helmet. It is engraved right in the heart of the round with two intersecting spears featured behind the design. A fancy circle rims the entire image along with the inscriptions; “Honor,” “Glory,” and “Spartan.”
For the reverse field of the 1 oz MK Barz Hand Poured Honor, Glory, Spartan Silver Round, you will find the emblem of MK Barz and Bullion in the heart of the coin. It is a skill with two bones crossing over each other. The inscriptions on this side of the round include “MK Barz” and other important details.
