Johnson Matthey Refining was known to make high-quality precious metal products with astonishing craftsmanship and attention to detail since the 1850s. The name ‘Johnson Matthey’ is alone a factor for higher premium prices over spot compared to other products of similar weight. However, considering the fact that they have been in business for over 150 years, the trust that people place in its products is unquestionable as well as understandable.
This JMC, Johnson Matthey Canada 7oz. bar is a part of a series that also includes the 3, 4, 5, and 10 oz bars. All are stamped JMC along with the Canadian maple leaf. Very cool collectible bars!
