The successful Australian Koala series from The Perth Mint has a new design for 2023. This coin is .9999 fine Silver and will continue the series' rich tradition and carry on its legacy.
Each year, the Koala series showcases a new design, making every year's coin unique and highly collectible. This year's issue has a limited mintage of just 300,000 coins, adding to its collectibility as a bullion coin.
Coin Highlights:
- Contains 1 oz of .9999 fine Silver.
- Each coin comes in a secure plastic capsule.
- Eligible for Precious Metals IRAs.
- Obverse: Artist Jody Clark's depiction of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the memorial obverse design and the monetary denomination, "1 Dollar."
- Reverse: Artist Ing Ing Jong's depiction of a baby koala atop its mother's back. The mother clings to a tree branch among clusters of aromatic eucalyptus leaves. Additionally, the inscription "Koala," The Perth Mint's traditional "P" mint mark, the 2023 year-date, and the weight and purity are included in the design.
